I don't write reviews often but I noticed that only one other person has done so for this item ; since I am very happy with my purchase, I thought I would throw in my 2 cents.
At first, I was a little bit leary about ordering something like this for my PS3 ; controllers. It's been my experience in the past with sticker/decal decorations that they never seem to line up right ; are a pain in the butt to put on. Not to mention, once you stick them on ; off a few times trying to get it right, they usually lose the ability to stick, leave messy residue on your item ; sometimes even become damaged to where there are parts that look funny or stick up in a corner or two. Also, many times I have gotten decals/stickers that weren't cut precise ; don't line up very good at all. If this is similar to your past experiences, let me make this clear.
THIS PRODUCT TRUMPS ALL OTHERS IN THESE AREAS!
The material is durable ; can be pulled off ; stuck back on MANY times while still remaining sticky ; un-damaged. I hade to remove ; shift them around a few times ; none of those times did it leave a residue at all. Whatever company makes these has perfected the art of cutting precisely to make sure that everything lines up perfectly on your PS3 ; controllers so you don't have some funny looking mis-shapen decal. If you ever had to remove them for any reason, they are a little thicker than a normal decal/sticker because of the material they are made of so you can pry them up a lot easier.
If all those pros aren't enough for you...how about this. They look absolutely amazing when all done! It doesn't look like some cheap sticker that somebody slapped on there...it looks more like it was made that way from the factory.
I'm sure most people are wanting to hear some cons to this as nothing is ever perfect. The only part about this product that gave me any issues was the sticker/decal that goes on the side where your X, circle, triangle ; square buttons are located. I had to move this around on each controller a several times to get it just right to where it didn't make the buttons (square ; circle ones mostly) stick. Once you get it lined up just right ; press the sticker/decal into the grooves that are around the buttons, you won't have any issues at all.
I very much recommend unplugging your system ; taking it as well as the controllers to a well lit, clean counter when putting these on. This will make it a lot easier to line everything up right. I did my first controller with my system plugged in ; on because I was in the middle of a game when the package showed up. You WILL have to press several buttons when making sure the decal is pressed on firmly ; that can get annoying having to make sure you don't screw up your game. Even if you turn the controller off, you will eventually have to work around the PS button in the middle ; that could create a problem as well.
I bought this and was worried about it being cheap and not sticking right .. But I took it of and on like 5 to 7 times just to get it right .. So yes go head and order this Product ..
